kazo makino is from japan and simone and amedeo pace (twin brothers) are from italy. the band name, blonde redhead, comes from a song by DNA, a new york no wave band which existed in the early 80's. A band they all love.

Their latest album, Fake Can Be Just As Good, is their third and their first for Touch and Go. It was recorded in Seattle at John and Stu's studio in October 1996. John Goodmanson recorded and blonde redhead produced the outcome. Kazu sings and plas guitar, Amedeo sings and plays guitar, Simone plays drums and keyboard. Their friend Vern, ob the band Unwound, played bass.
